I'm sick

It's not even winter and I'm sick, how messed up is this? Being sick is horrible lying around in bed under the warm blankets. I'm going to tell you some ways to make you feel better when your sick.
1) Get heaps of sleep
2) Drink heaps of water
3) Eat healthy
4)Take it easy

That's all I can because I'm sick and have to finish assessments. Good luck everyone.

Toning your legs

I got told that i have to build my muscle tone up a bit so you're stronger and do balance exercises as well to help your center of gravity when you dance. And I look at them and i was like WHAT? So i thought i would share a few tips to tone your legs. I'm getting my legs ready for a performance at the end of the year and I have a long way to go. So who's up for a journey of pain and sweat? 

Try
  1. Squats
  2. Leg lifts
  3. And walking
For a challenge  the CALL ME MAYBE MIGHTY SQUAT CHALLENGE! Try it really kills the legs, I did it just before and oh my lord my legs are crying.

Watching the Extra Eggs

Easter Time Is the Time for Eggs 

Wow it's Easter, the celebration of Jesus has arrived and to celebrate Jesus returning back to Earth from the Heavens we receive chocolate eggs, bunnies, sweets, lollies, pretzel bites and plenty much more. It is okay to treat yourself to a naughty treat ever once in a while but you got to make sure you have it in consideration. I know it's 100% hard to avoid chocolate at Easter so make sure you burn it off after. Go for a run, swim, jog, hula hop anything really. I try my best to avoid chocolate the most around Christmas, Valentines and Easter. So here are my sneaky tips to avoid chocolate and or burn it off.




  1. If someone buys you chocolate (don't eat it) say thank you, wrap it up and give it to somebody else. Some families don't get to have chocolate so it could be a nice gift for them.
  2. If you do have a treat make sure it's in a SMALL amount. Not to much or you we feel addicted but just enough so you feel satisfied. 
  3. Remember that the more you put in the more you put out. 
  4. If you're going to a family event, make a healthier chose of food. Bring some carrots, chocolate strawberry or dark chocolate. 
  5.  If you see a snack that you know is not good say to yourself, "the whales are calling they want their fat back". (Nothing against whales, love these beautiful creatures).

Cooking with Momoka

Hey everybody, hows Easter going for everyone? I gave myself a special treat last night. :) My 5 year old cousin gave me chocolate egg and she insisted i ate it with her. I couldn't get away from the guilt of eating it. It was worth it those, her smile made my day. So back to the point, Momoka and I did a little experiment of cooking. We made a smoothie, salad and had some mango ice-cream (which her mum made, thank god). 
We started of with cutting the carrots and apples to even pieces and putting them in the blender.

 Then after they're cut, we drop them into the blender and well the blender does the rest for us.

Finish product. Very tasty!!
This was kind of weird but when we were cleaning we saw a little container where all the left overs goes. We decided we were going to make a little healthy salad. We used:
  • The carrot/apple mixture 
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Lettuce leaf 
  • 1/2 Cucumber 
  • A dazzle of honey
Mix all the ingredients together and tada!

On the left bottom is Momoka mum mango ice-cream.

Fix that booty

I want to say I'm so sorry for not posting for a while. I been so busy studying and practicing my dance. How have you all been lately?  I have noticed that it's been a bit colder in the morning by like 1%. It got me thinking, winter is almost upon us and that means wearing tights. I be honest with you, I never felt comfy wearing tights as they make me look chubby but I think I have gotten over that fear. I have started doing butt workouts and hopefully by winter I'll be fully ready to wear tights. I show you what I've been doing. By the way it's super important to take before and after photos. It's not so you can show the show how much you lost but it's important so you can reflect on yourself, and think how healthy you are now.

 You can either chose the top one or the bottom one. Personally i prefer the bottom one as it challenges me more, but if your are taking it easy than by all means do the top one. As long as your not just sitting down doing nothing.

Today we went to Mt Cootha and I made my dad walk all the way to the lookout and back. We went through the track and up a huge hill and my calves were burning but we did it. We conquer biggest mountain in BRISBANE! Next on my list is Mt Tambourine near the coast. Sorry dad :))

Summer Glow

In the holidays i went to a science excursion and in one of the lectures the professor told us if you wear sunscreen everyday it helps makes your skin look younger. Why waste $100000 on products that don't work when you can buy sunscreen for like $10 and it lasts a while. Remember regular exercise and a healthy diet play a major role in healthy looking skin.

Making your skin B E A U T I F U L

Have you ever woken up looked in the mirror and saw a pimple pop out of nowhere. Lucky for me it happen this morning. :'(  Thankfully I'm quipped for this kind of emergency. Went shopping with my friend the other day and went to Lush to buy a new facial mask. (My favorite is Love Lettuce, it's for skin that's oily)
So I bought love lettuce and got home put the mask on and read a book (currently reading looking for Alaska). The next morning I woke up and went to look at myself in the mirror and to my surprise the pimple was gone.  I couldn't of been happier. So if you're having pimples problems I promise lush is the right place to go.

Giving up junk food

Let's be honest here, giving up junk food can be very hard. Especially because junk food is really yummy and it tastes so good. Well this year we're going to change that habit of eating to much junk food and not exercising enough. Before I get into anything let me introduce myself. Hey, I'm your fresh fool blogger. I'm going to help you every step of the way getting rid of those cravings while giving you healthy tips about... well pretty much everything. Every once in a while I'll talk about products I use to keep my skin clear, a healthy breakfast meal, kids night to cook, getting rid of pimples and plenty more. This blog isn't only about becoming fit. It's about looking good while today it. ;) I will be posting a lot of stuff from Raw For Beauty. If you check them out that's pretty cool. (http://rawforbeauty.com/blog/) Well that's enough of me now back to this blog.

So this post I'm going to talk about giving up junk food. When I say giving up junk food, I don't mean you have to give it up fully. Because there is nothing wrong with spoiling yourself every once in a while. What I do mean is giving up junk food daily. A lot of people think of junk food has maccas, chips and soda. So not true!!!! Junk food is unhealthy food, so pretty much food that not organic. I be honest today was not a good day, I spoiled myself. I went to the movies and bought chocolate popcorn, (which is amazing by the way) coke zero, (which isn't even healthier then the normal coke) a packet of chips and good old McDonalds. I got to admit not a good start to the healthy year, so thank god today was my treat day. Giving up junk food is going to be hard but you need to get over it. 
Here are a few tips to help you:
1. Replace junk food with healthy food. Get rid of the unhealthy option and start being fruits and veggies. 
2. Replace bad carbs with good carbs. 
e.g Bad carbs-french fries
good carbs-whole meal bread
3. Eat before you go out so you're not tempted to eat out.
